Miracle Channel [Lethbridge, AB] - Insight - December 2008 - Young Muslims Canada appeared on 'Insight' for an Islamic Perspectives segment. The questions of discussion were:
1. In light of the recent terrorism in Mumbai ... what is Islam doing to
stop young people from getting involved in religious violence? Do
Islamic religious leaders need to do more than they are currently doing?
2. Does your faith celebrate Christmas in any way? Do you celebrate
Muhammad's birthday or any of your other religious figure's birthdays?
3. Does your faith believe in prophecy? Does God still speak through
people today? If so, does it have to be through a special person?
4. What does your faith have any beliefs surrounding the "end of the
world"? Will it end sometime? If so, when will this happen and what can
we expect to experience?
Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police O.A.C.P. Introductory Video on Islam
On Friday, November 7th, 2008, Young Muslims Canada participated in the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police O.A.C.P. introductory video on Islam. The production will act as a manual for newly inducted police officers in Ontario.

1) The Ontario legislature is planning on replacing the daily Lord's Prayer with a more inclusive prayer. Do you agree with that? If so, what should that prayer look like or, should prayer simply be left out?
2) Who is God and where did He come from? Did He have a beginning or was He always God?
